SYNOPSIS

Emily Barton’s life is different from the other children of Mystic, Connecticut. With a very protective mother and traumatized by the disappearance of her father at six years-old, Emily spends her anxious childhood in therapy, uncertain of her own reality. It is when she falls in love with her high school classmate, Robert, that she is forced to question the circumstances of her life.

In the screenplay of Girl in a Glass Box, Raf Lindia and Blanche Baker explore the line between protection and control to shine a light on the invisibility of psychological abuse. The story unfolds into a shocking realization of what is actually going on.
